The Second First Day of School

Isabel got the cutest haircut a few days after starting school.  She was so thrilled that it just seemed right to take another picture.  (Plus, we wouldn't want Scooby to feel left out.)

Scootering and skateboarding

The girls made a town out of sidewalk chalk that spanned about 3/4 block long,

including homes, schools, businesses, swimming pool, an airport, and

roads for their scooters.   It also got to stay around for a couple days because it

didn't rain.

It was awesome.

The Wedding

My niece, Andi, got married last weekend.  It took place in my parents' backyard right at sunset.  It was such a beautiful wedding, full of love and life.  Isabel was the flower girl and Grace was in charge of the guest book and, also, holding the train of Andi's dress.   There was a tent set up for the reception and we partied all night.  So much fun.
