Anniversary #19

Skiing

We went skiing last weekend and had a great time on the slopes.  We all skiied in the morning and then Isabel and I hung out in the village and had ice cream while Mike and Grace skiied the back bowls in the afternoon.

We grabbed pizza and then headed down the hill.  

We finished off the night with Grace and I watching the movie King's Speech.

I love Spring skiing.

Passover and Easter

We celebrated Passover this year.  We painted posts with branches and red paint, which we later made into a Cross.  We had a Passover meal and read out loud what each thing symbolized.  It was actually really cool and I think we will do it again next year.

Easter was spent in church, along with Easter baskets for the girls and our annual Easter egg hunt in the back yard.

And my tulips made an appearance.

Grace made cozy homes for them and they are very content.  

They have lasted a record week so far and we are happy about that.  

One for each girl.

Race and Hunt

Saturday was the Bobcat Boogie, which is a 5K race in support of Gracie's school.  Mike and the girls ran the race and I worked the registration table.  They had a great turnout and it is a big fund raiser for the school.  Grace came in 3rd place for her age group, and Mike and Isabel ran a leisure race.  Way to go guys!

Next, we headed over to the school for an Easter Egg Hunt for Isabel.  They had the Easter Bunny, cute crafts and a BIG egg hunt!

This was right before the start of the big hunt.

There was a bit of a delay in the starting time so we

got to sit down for a little bit.  Isabel was very patient.

It was a fun day!
