Passover and Easter

We celebrated Passover this year.  We painted posts with branches and red paint, which we later made into a Cross.  We had a Passover meal and read out loud what each thing symbolized.  It was actually really cool and I think we will do it again next year.

Easter was spent in church, along with Easter baskets for the girls and our annual Easter egg hunt in the back yard.

And my tulips made an appearance.

Grace made cozy homes for them and they are very content.  

They have lasted a record week so far and we are happy about that.

Race and Hunt

Saturday was the Bobcat Boogie, which is a 5K race in support of Gracie's school.  Mike and the girls ran the race and I worked the registration table.  They had a great turnout and it is a big fund raiser for the school.  Grace came in 3rd place for her age group, and Mike and Isabel ran a leisure race.  Way to go guys!

Next, we headed over to the school for an Easter Egg Hunt for Isabel.  They had the Easter Bunny, cute crafts and a BIG egg hunt!

There was a bit of a delay in the starting time so we

got to sit down for a little bit.  Isabel was very patient.

It was a fun day!

Spring Break

Happy Spring Break.  We are enjoying San Francisco and Santa Cruz for the week.  It's nice to be by the water again.

Grace II

Also, this year, Grace was part of a team that was chosen to participate in the Brain Bowl where 88 teams (or something like that) from all over the State of Colorado come together and go head to head.  It's a contest of wits where you take on one team at a time.  You are asked a question and each team tries to answer first by buzzing in the answer.  Grace's team advanced to the finals and was one of the few in Bethlehem history to do so!  What a group of smarties!  It was so intense and exciting to watch.  Way to go team!
