It takes everyday photos and makes them look really cool.

Grandma's Birthday and Soccer

Saturday was our last soccer games for the season.

It was a good season and Gracie had a record number of goals.

She plays with all her heart.

We are really proud of her and all the kiddos

that played.

I really enjoyed watching their team.

What a great group of kids.

Then we were off to Grandma's birthday bash

(along with Scooby)

Uncle Monte made a cool cornhole game.

You toss your beanbags and try to get them in the hole.

He made the boards and painted them

and even made the bean bags and filled them with corn.

It was awesome.

Grandma got a ipad for her birthday. 

All the kids pitched in.

Now Grandma is all hip and cool

and computer techno current.

Umm. Well, I kinda didn't get one.

Ooops.

I know, i know.

I am not so good at taking photos

at events.

Sorry Grandma.

I kept thinking the whole time, "I need to get a photo of Grandma with the girls." 

It's the thought that counts, right??

braids, swimming & volleyball

The girls got braids. 

They felt special. 

Terry did them. 

I think Terry did my hair for the first time 22 years ago! 

We love her.

Swim season started for us,

which means hanging out at the neighborhood pool

as much as possible.

Grace finished a volleyball camp today.

She is the one on the left in the green.

You can barely see her there.

They got to practice with these HUGE volleyballs!

So much fun!

And this was my sidekick.

She was so patient and fun to hang out with.

She would cheer for Gracie and the other girls.

On the last day she got to go to Grandma's all by herself for a break.  Yay!

Grace and I would practice in the backyard before camp.

And this is Isabel after our busy week.

Last Day of School

Gracie's last day of school was Friday.
They gave out awards and signed yearbooks.
Grace won the physical fitness award.

a performance

We have been wrapping up the last few weeks of Gracie's school.  (Yay, its almost over!)
Arts in the Afternoon was Sunday, and is where each class displays their art to be judged and awarded, that they have been working on all year.  They give a few musical performances, and the band plays also.

This year was the musical "Bugz."  It was wonderful and the best one yet!

This was before everything started.

Grace had a solo part in the performance and I

could tell the butterflies were starting to churn.

She did so well!

It was a long solo and she nailed it! 

She sang it with such beauty and grace  

and we couldn't have been prouder!

She also got a blue ribbon for her self portrait.

What a day!

And a good way to finish the year.
